How It Started
Long story short, Paw Addict was an idea that came about as a result of a series of random happenings throughout the years based upon a sketch that Keith Blondin created starting way back when he was about 8 years old. From that simple sketch a transformation was made to form the Vudog character in 2010.
In 2013 a unique animation video was produced featuring Vudog as an inspirational character, it was titled "Never Give Up". While promoting the the Vudog character at New York Comic-Con in 2014, Keith was selling some shirts printed with paws made from 5 hearts, this was the footprint of Vudog. Also printed on the shirts was "Paw Addict". The shirts sold well, based on that, the pet lover brand Paw Addict was formed. After selling T-shirts at events and online for a year, the Paw Addict retail store was opened for business in mid 2016 in Newport, Rhode Island.
Vudog got the back burner for a while as Paw Addict was being built. Well, he's back in a new animation for a 2023 release called PLANET RESCUE. (watch video)
This one was really fun to make, and just like the last one, the family pets are in it. Yes that's right, they were hybrid meshed into the video.

Our Mission
We have fun and share the love of pets through our cute and quirky wearable art. Paw Addict is the fan club for our furry friends.
Some pets desperately need our help, as about 2.7 million abandoned cats and dogs are needlessly euthanized every year in the US. Its a people problem, not an animal problem. So its up to us to combat this tragic issue.
Know when you make a purchase at Paw Addict a portion of the sales proceeds are methodically directed to rescue efforts through “no kill” shelters and pet adoption organizations.
